EarthWorks Welcomes Scott Orndorff as Vice President of Business Development

Industry veteran brings nearly three decades of experience in turfgrass management, distribution and business development. 

EarthWorks is pleased to welcome Scott Orndorff as Vice President of Business Development, bringing 29 years of experience in the Green Industry and a strong background in turfgrass management, sales and industry relationships. 

Originally from Salisbury, Maryland, Scott began his career in golf course construction before transitioning into lawn care management. He later moved into distributor sales, where he spent more than two decades building relationships and gaining valuable experience across the distribution and manufacturing sectors. 

Most recently, Scott held dual leadership roles with WS Connelly Company, serving as Director of Business Operations for the HydraSmart Division and Director of Sales for the Landscape Supply Division. 

Throughout his career, Scott has focused on developing innovative turfgrass management strategies, building lasting industry partnerships and promoting environmental stewardship. His experience and commitment to advancing the Green Industry align with EarthWorks’ Soil First philosophy and dedication to helping turf professionals achieve better results through Biological Soil Management. 

Scott remains actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Mid-Atlantic GCSAA, Virginia Turfgrass Council, Maryland Turfgrass Council, Mid-Atlantic SFMA and Carolinas SFMA. 

Outside of the industry, Scott enjoys fly fishing, woodworking and traveling.
